# Billing method & Usage tracking

MixRoute operates on a **Pay-as-you-go** model:

## Billing Principles

1. **Real-time Deduction**: Fees are deducted from your balance immediately after each API request.
2. **No Minimum Spend**: There is no minimum consumption requirement; you only pay for what you use.
3. **No Expiration**: Your balance never expires.
4. **Model-Specific Rates**: Different models have different rates for input and output tokens. For detailed pricing, please refer to the [Model Marketplace](https://console.mixroute.ai/models).

## Tracking Usage

1. **Dashboard Access**: Log in to the console and navigate to **\[Log Management]**.
2. **Usage Logs**: Click on **\[Usage Logs]** to view your historical records. Additionally, the `usage` field in the API response will return the real-time Token consumption for each request.
